Air Tightness Testing
We are an ATTMA registered company providing nationwide Air Tightness Testing. Our technicians are equipped with fully UKAS calibrated kit and provide testing services for both domestic and non-domestic buildings. Part F Ventilation Testing
Testing Requirements Under Part F
While there is no specific mandatory "test" defined for background ventilation equivalent to air permeability testing under Part L, Part F requires that:

Installed ventilation systems (including background ventilation provisions) must perform to the design specification.

Installation must be commissioned and verified, particularly for mechanical systems.

A performance-based approach is encouraged – especially where compliance is based on System 3 (MEV) or System 4 (MVHR).

In new dwellings, background ventilators must be provided unless it can be demonstrated that mechanical ventilation provides continuous air change rates and maintains IAQ.
